In Aarhus, Mira III got its current name.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, the boat was equipped with a two-cylinder steam engine. In 1924, Mira III got a Munktell petrol engine, which it sailed with until 1938, when it got a two-cylinder V\u00f8lund 65 HP glow engine. In 2004, Mira III got the engine that the boat sails with today, a six-cylinder Albin diesel engine.<\/p>\n<p>As early as 1966, Mira III came to Middelfart, where it has since been used for cruises on the Litllibaelt. Mira III is the one of Middelfart&#8217;s tour boats that has the longest history of touring from Middelfart, and many of the town&#8217;s residents have had family gatherings and celebrated anniversaries on board.<\/p>\n<p>Renovation in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/skibsbevaringsfonden.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ship Conservation Foundation<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4a405d9 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"4a405d9\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3ef94ef elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3ef94ef\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Renovation\/restoring in collaboration with the Ship Conservation Foundation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5e65a2f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"5e65a2f\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0332670 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"0332670\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-633479e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"633479e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><\/p>\n<p>It is a big task to keep a more than one hundred-year-old wooden ship in good condition.<\/p>\n<p>We are fortunate that Mira III has been declared worthy of preservation and that the Ship Preservation Foundation has entered into a partnership with us to preserve her.
